Fresh off the heels of a satisfying remix for “Show Me Love,” Dutch legends Armin van Buuren and Sander van Doorn are back with their first ever collab “Jonson’s Play.” “Jonson’s Play” is a thrilling musical journey giving you the best of both worlds from these two legendary producers. Although SvD has remixed Armin in the past, it’s genuinely shocking that these two haven’t previously collaborated.
It’s been a massive year so far for Armin as he celebrated 1000 episodes of his A State of Trance radio show. He’s also put out a slew of releases including his first ever collab with Alesso. This is SvD’s third release of 2021
“Jonson’s Play” opens with a four-four beat, a droning synth note hovering in the background, and a dark, brooding feeling to open the track. As the tempo of the song increases, the synths become brighter and more melodic. The synths continue to swell in the background until the blissful drop hits. This one is sure to be a hit this festival season.
