First Contact has gone acoustic.

After applying their re-imaginative touch to Bob Moses‘ “The Blame” exactly two weeks prior, Lastlings are breaking out their red pens to revise four of their debut LP’s tracklistings. Respective strips of “Deja Vu,” “Take My Hand,” “Out of Touch,” and “No Time” span Amy and Josh Dowdle’s First Contact acoustic EP, conferring the spotlight in its singularity to the former’s porcelain vocals.

The companion project is a complementary accessory to First Contact, which justified Lastlings’ inclusion on Dancing Astronaut‘s roster of Artists to Watch in 2021—and that, evidently, was just the beginning.
